Winter Cottage (Dee's Distinctively Dies)

My project today is made with Dee’s Distinctively Small Winter Cottage, Small snow covered stacker tree & Border No 3 dies.  I die cut the cottage once in tan cardstock and once in white glitter cardstock. I had some scrap Christmas cardstock so I cut pieces to create candy poles for trim and the door of the cottage.   Then glued the glittered roof in place, added the chimney and using the Border No 3 die created the smoke rising from the chimney.

To create the trees I die cut one set in white and one set in green cardstock for each tree and then glued them in layers.  That way you can create any size tree you want.

Using an E.K. Success Double Embossed Dotted Lace Scallop punch I created an edge from the brown cardstock to go underneath the house. The snow with die cut using the Papertrey In The Meadow Collection Edger set.  The candies I punched with E.K. Success  Paper Shaper ½” circle punch.   Snowflakes are a small Marvy punch.

All White Bouquet (Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight die)

I have another white on white project to share with you today.  I made this one using the Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight large and medium frames.  By using mounting tape under the frame and some of the flowers you can create fun dimensions. I decided not to emboss anything on this card which makes the flowers stand out against the frame.  After die cutting several Memory Box Fancy Blossoms and Primula Blooms I arranged them near the left corner of the frame and added Dee’s Distinctively small leaves to create branch sprigs along the corner of the frame and under some of the flowers.  To complete the flowers I added Liquid Pearls in Silver Pearl color to the center of the flowers.  This is a really easy card to make using very few materials.
