Pink & White Shaped Card

Place Grand Labels Twenty-Three (5½ x 4⅜") slightly above fold

As most of you know I have absolutely no talent in using stamps or trying my hand at coloring anything. But I do like to try different techniques to create cards.  I have found that to make any shaped card all you have to do is fold the cardstock in half, crease the edge and place the shaped die slightly above the fold.  It gives you a  hinged top and a fun shape die cut that is still attached at the top of card.

Die cut and emboss the pink Labels Twenty-Three and attach to white one, then die cut smaller white Labels Twenty-Three and glue in place.  Add the pink Madera corner, flowers and glittery butterfly to complete the card.

Black & White Simplicity

Another gloomy day, the rain has not stopped yet.  That means I am indoors creating cards.

I have another flower project to share with you today.  I used the Lorelai Leaf in black and white for the outline of the arrangement and covered the branches with blossoms made using the Blooming Posie and Fancy Blossoms.  Using a  stylus and your mat form the flower petals and centers  Add to center of each flower some glue and a light dusting of Art Glitter in Black.  Add Tiny Bow to bottom of stems.

I attached the Opulent Oval in White to smaller Black A2 Mat, then glued it to the larger White A2 Mat. Next cut and glue a piece of Black cardstock to fit behind A2 Mat,  finally glue to standard White card size below.

My standard card size is as follows.  I trim White cardstock with Rotary cutter to 8" X 10".  Score the cardstock in the middle at the 5" line and use a bone folder to crease the edge of the paper to form a card 5" X 8".

For trim on bottom of card pick one of the A2 Bracket Borders One you like and die cut two in White cardstock and glue in place adding one single flower to center.

Madison Window Scene Card

The weather today is so gloomy I needed to create a bright fun card to remind me Summer is coming.

Die cut the Memory Box Small Madison Window, Lacy Curtains, Grand Flower Box and Meridian Border in white card stock. Attach curtain behind window frame and trim off excess. Find some cute patterned paper and die cut three Garden Pots.  Add pots gluing just at the bottom so you can attach Fabulous Phlox foliage into them and glue Primula Blooms flowers in place.

Cut out a 5" X 5½” piece of yellow card stock for front of card and attach Meridian Border, Window and finally Grand Flower Box.  Trim a white piece of card stock 5" X 11" score in half and attach yellow front to complete card.

Materials:
Memory Box Small Madison Arched Window, Primula Blooms, Meridian Border, Lacy Curtains, Fabulous Phlox, Garden Pots & Grand Flower Box.
