Quick and easy design, I just die cut each deer, then added some trimmed tree lights and used Viva Decor pens for the ornaments. Die cut the Labels Twenty-Three frame  and added Mounting Tape to the back, attached the deer and the sparkly poinsettia.

Memory Box - Leaping Deer
Poppy Stamps - Small Blooming Poinsettia & Sparkling Tree Lights (harness)
Spellbinders - Grand Nestabilities Labels Twenty-Three

Fall In The Country

Ever since our weather has gotten cooler the deer have decided to become very pesky. They are eating the leaves off of plants that in the past they have never touched.  They really go after the Dogwood trees, breaking branches and stripping off all the leaves.   They vacuum up all the fruit tree leaves so I never have to rake.

Recently when we were out of town upon returning home I noticed that all the Fuji apples are now missing from the trees.  This I can not blame on the deer (my husband calls them forest rats) since the trees are trimmed up high enough the deer can not reach the branches.  Really I have no idea what happened to the apples, we have bears but there is no damage to the trees. The birds may peck them but never has ever one gone missing.

For today's design I inked most of the die cut pieces.  I first inked the Alder tree, then the Firs  and also the pumpkins.  I tucked the trees behind the Landscape Layers and pumpkins between the rolling hills.  Then loaded the truck up with pumpkins and attached it to the front.

Materials:
Memory Box - Grand Alder Tree & Puffy Clouds
Impression Obsession - Fir trees, Classic Truck, Pumpkin Patch, Cardinals & Hill Landscape Layers
Ranger Ink Distress Ink - Red, Green & Orange

A printed a picture of a wild turkey off the web so I had something to go by and then tried to ink the die cut turkey with black, golden and some blue.  I stamped it with the VersaMark Watermark Stamp and dusted it using the Ranger Ink Embossing Powder Clear and then heat embossed.

Too bad the picture does not really show the true colors.  I thought it would be fun to tuck some pumpkins into the grass and add some Fall colored leaves and then finish with the die cut Thanksgiving.

Memory Box Classic Tom Turkeys

For today's design I started with the face, I die cut in flesh card stock using the 3 1/4" circle and hand drew the mouth.  Then punched the nose with the 1/2" circle in orange card stock. The eyes were three punched 1/2" circles, white, black and brown card stock, glue the white then black and trim the brown in half for the lids.  The hair is a Cumin colored card stock and I ran it through the crimper and then used the Deckle scissors to cut out the pieces.  The rim part of the hat is created using the A2 Bracket Border in brown and orange card stock and then slightly overlay the pieces.  I had to free hand the top part of the hat. I used the Square die for the scarf, trimmed off a little and added the two leaves to the right corner.  To complete the design I made a flower and tucked in a few leaves.

Today's offering was a lot of fun to create, first I took one piece of the Adirondack® Alcohol Ink Card stock  and used the applicator stamp with felt and squeezed a little of the three colors and a squeeze of the Alcohol Blending Solution and then stamped the card stock. Next I die cut the pumpkin.  To create the flowers I punched out the two colors and snipped with scissors between the petals and attached two punched flowers for each flower.  The centers are from the Tiny Flower die and I pinched the center before attaching.  I tucked the Massa Leaf behind the pumpkin and attached more flowers.  I die cut the Fleur De Lis Square and attached the pumpkin and then from my computer added the word Fall on a sheet of card stock and die cut with the Pastry label.  To complete I used the Spellbinders Grand Square and attached the label and Fleur De Lis Square.
