I had so many ideas for Valentine cards I want to get them all posted before Valentines Day. I had some left over pieces from holiday designs so added the Mountain Landscape as snow and the fun Snowman all decked out in hearts.  I embossed the background and added some Viva Decor Glass Effects to some of the dots but you can not really see them.

I finally have gotten around to using the A2 Curved borders dies, I just picked several and created the curved border and then added the branch and the fun squirrels.  The ribbon banner I die cut in white, brown and cinnamon color and overlapped them for the shadow effect.  I wanted to make a non traditional Valentine card design and colors.

Love Birds

Just a Note:
I have noticed other bloggers saying they have lost followers, mine decreased by 6 in one day several weeks ago.  I don't believe people are not following I think there might be a problem with how they were following.    I read on Darnell's blog that if they  use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog.  With the internet it is always something or another. You can read the announcement here.

Another 10 minute or less design. I am trying to get a little more use out of my dies. I have have the Dove in Love die for at least a year and never used it before.  I die cut the birds twice and then cut out each bird and colored the beak and feet.  I also added a little Wink of Stella on each bird.  Then I attached them to the branch and added some mounting tape to the back of each bird and attached the entire thing to the white card stock.  I added a large matting in red and then another in white.

Another 10 minute or less design. I am trying to get a little more use out of my dies.  I die cut the Lattice Heart with white card stock and took some scissors and trimmed the center piece away.  Then trimmed the silhouette boy and girl and attached to the center of Lattice Heart and added the fun red center heart.  I attached the heart string to the top and matted it with another piece of white card stock.

This design certainly falls in the 10 minute or less category.  I die cut the frame in white and used the larger pieces for the center and outside frame.  Before attaching to red card stock I added some mounting tape to add a little dimension to the center two pieces. I thought it would be fun to create the little boy as a silhouette and add some a heart bouquet behind him.  I cut off the bells from the Mistletoe and Bells die and just used the top part.

Materials:
Impression Obsession  - Boy with flowers, Rectangle 6 in one frame & Mistletoe & bells.
