Thank you everyone that stopped bye and left such nice comments on my last card.
As 2016 comes to a close I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed stopping by your blogs and admiring your fabulous creations.
As many of you know my dad passed in October and at the same time my mom now has been diagnosed with ALS, (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.) It is not familial at least as far as we know, but I know 2017 will bring many challenges. I wish good health to everyone and hugs to those that need some.
We are having really cold weather, low in the morning or 18 degrees with a high of 33.

Old Saint Nick's House
Thank you for stopping bye and for all the lovely comments you left on my previous card.
We have been having some really cold temperatures here in the Northwest, my husband and I purchased four Blue Spruce trees to plant and when we got them home and unloaded we discovered the ground was frozen solid. Really I am glad none of the neighbors were filming us otherwise I am sure we would of shown up on a You Tube video. It really was a funny site to see, we finally gave up until a few days later when it started raining.
I only used the top part of the Manor House die and then trimmed off the sides. As you can see if went overboard on the glitter, the silver really is pretty even though the picture does not show it very well.
Materials
Spellbinders - Card Creator 5 X 7 Matting Basics B
Dee's Distinctively - Alpine Tree Large & Small
Impression Obsession - Santa's Sled
Precious Marieke - Icicles
Memory Box - Manor House & Small Alder Tree
Lawn Fawn - Stitched Hillside Borders
Silver Glitter
White Glitter

Have a wonderful holiday
Best of the holidays to everyone and I hope you are doing well, and thank you all so much for your visit and wonderful comments on my last card.
We had snow again and the temperatures were so cold that is did not melt, so the roads tend to be icy. The black bear we have living near the forest is still out and about, he knocked down my trash container and proceeded to stick his head into the container and pull out some chicken scraps. Made a huge mess, then climbed the tree in the back and knocked my brand new Squirrel Buster Bird Feeder to the ground. Dragged it over to the grass but thankfully was not able to get it open or damage it. Really what happened to the theory bears hibernate.
Anyone that stops by knows I love the Lady Dancing die, I can always find so many fun ways to use it.
I added a little mounting tape to the back of the dog and Lady Dancing and also the snow mounds. I glittered the trees and the fur trim on the dress. I coated the red dress with glossy accents for a little shine. I always die cut the lady twice so I can use the legs and arms to re-position them as needed. I also die cut the body with the dress in white card stock then trimmed the pieces off and attached them to the cuffs and skirt. I tend to use pieces from other dies like the scarf and skates from the snowman die.
Materials:
White glitter
Glossy Accents
Memory Box - Lady Dancing & Crisp Bow
Poppy Stamps - Frenchy
Dee's Distinctively - Small Alpine tree
Impression Obsession - Snowman (I used the scarf and skates)
Lawn Fawn - Stitched Hillside Borders

Holiday Front Door
Another very chilly morning, the temperature outside is 27 degrees. Last week when we had the ice storm all the trees were coated in thick ice. When the sun came out the trees were just breathtaking, creating a winter wonderland. While walking outside you really have to be careful not to stand near the trees as the ice melts and falls to the ground.
Materials:
Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Brick folder
Poppy Stamps - Frosted Rood & Ledges, Dainty Corner & Grand Madison Door
Memory Box - Bright Lanterns & Scalloped Cake Stand
Impression Obsession - Fir Trees
Nuvo Crystal Drops in assorted colors
